YT-891 is a universal USB2.0 to RS485 converter that uses an FTDI chip internally and is compatible with USB and RS-485 standards. It can convert single ended USB signals into balanced differential RS-485 signals, providing 600W surge protection per line to cope with surge voltages generated by various reasons on the line. The extremely small interpole capacitance ensures high-speed transmission of the RS485 interface, The RS-485 terminal is connected through USB and DB9 male connectors. The converter is equipped with zero delay automatic transmission and conversion, and its unique I/O circuit automatically controls the direction of data flow. It does not require any handshake signals such as RTS and DTR, and does not require jumper settings to achieve half duplex (RS485) mode conversion, plug and play, ensuring compatibility with all existing communication software and interface hardware. The YT-891 interface converter can provide reliable connections for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication. Each point-to-multipoint converter can connect 32 RS-485 interface devices, with a data communication rate of 300-11500bps. The supported communication method is USB to RS-485 conversion.
