When both ends of the TVS tube are subjected to transient high energy shocks, it can reduce the impedance at both ends at a very high speed, absorb a large current, clamp the voltage at both ends to a predetermined value, and protect the circuit components behind from damage due to transient high voltage shocks. This protector can effectively suppress lightning and ESD, providing a lightning surge protection power of 600W per line, as well as various surge voltages and transient overvoltages generated on the line due to various reasons. The extremely small interpole capacitance ensures high-speed transmission of the RS-422/RS-485 interface.
